The SVT is more "tuned" to start with, so it should need less in the way of upgrades as a ZX3. Therefore, the ZX3 probably has more available parts for upgrade.

Start with an SVT if you can, then decide what you want to do. TheSVT is a better base to start with then a ZX3,IMHO.
