Re: 2.2 to a 4.3 vortec

It'll be pretty well the same cost to switch to a 350 V8, and then your truck has a higher re-sale.

buy a written of full sized truck with a 350... preferably around the same year as yours. Make sure that they haven't munched the front end too bad
I believe that you'll need custom motor mounts and someone can tell you where to get them when the time is right
Then take your time transfering the 350, electronics if required, and the transmission from one to the other

Mark everything before you remove it, and try drawing yourself a small map of all the hoses, ect

When your done sell all your un-needed parts. You'll make more selling them piece by piece, but it's nice getting the mess off your yard asap if someone offers you a package price.

I know that it's a 4x4, and converted from a 2.8L S-10 Blazer but this site will give you a look at what's required
