ive got squeaks!!

I have an interesting dilema to say the least. My distributor squeaks. Has this happeded to anyone else? It sounds like it only does it once every rotation though. Oddly enough when I push the distributor, with a decent ammount of force, toward the engine it stops squeaking. However, I cant be pushing the stupid thing while I'm doing 55 down a highway and the noise is driving me up the wall!! My engine is an I-6 and as a minor note, I already replaced the cap and rotor with high hopes. But like I said before... Anybody know or have any experience with this kind of thing? Any advice would be much much much appreciated!
