Hey guys, today i set my eq on my h/u so i can get high volumes with no distortion or clipping. Basically i started out with a flat eq..then i increased the higher freq's up alittle(400hz and up)...enough to make it sound non-muddy. Then i decreased the lower freq's (160hz and lower) to like -4db on 160hz..then -8db on 60hz....My high pass filter is at 135hz. I do still have midbass...just NO lows to distort etc.
panasonic h/u 5410 powering rear 6880 4way pioneers alpine 220 50wrmsX2@4ohms amp powering 2 front 6880 speakers 2 12' mtx/sealed run by a 200rms@2ohm mtx dclass amp.
