Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

Hey guys I need help - QUICK!!

I've been working out for like a year probably, but I need big guns, NOW, and I only have 2 weeks before spring break. I've tried different workouts throughout the last year, supplements, and other techniques, and gotten some minor growth. But I need to know what you guys think I should do now in the next 2 weeks inorder to get big arms. I'm content with my chest and everything else, but I need arms... like right now. I'll describe my lifestyle so you guys can formulate your responses accordingly: I get an average of 7 hours of sleep / night. I weigh 150 and am 6 ft. I have at my disposal creatine & whey protein (both of which I have been using for about a year, and I just did a "washout" to start my new workout schedule).

So, here's what I got

7 hours of sleep / night
150 pds 6 ft high
Creatine
Whey protein
Lots of tuna
Protein bars
One straight bar with adjustable weights (no bench)
Machine w/ lat pulldowns, and other little stuff
Two 25 pd dumbells
One adjustable (up to 40) pd dumbell

Does anyone have any idea of some great arm-builders that work fairly quick? As you can see, I have all the nutrition and supplements at my disposal, and most of the sleep, but I just need better techniques.

Please help soon

Thanks guys.

Re: Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

What is your training schedule like? Are you training to absolute failure every time? That's what I would be doing. You won't want to move your arms much, but you will see good gains. Go on a 1 day on, one day off cycle and increase sleep by 2 hours. Keep your fluids up increase weight/decrease reps after a week.

Re: Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

My schedule right now is weight lift (usually about 1 hour in the morning) every 3 day (so 2 empty days in between). I haven't been lifting to complete PMF either every time - I really will start doing that and upping the weight and downing the reps.

Thanks Oz.

Re: Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

I'll give those a shot samintheend. And yes, I'm only in High School. LoL.

95cord, I usually do 8-12 reps per set. I shoot for low reps with high weight inorder to try to get more mass.

Hey by the way guys, yesterday I chugged shitloads of water all day - thus doing a massive washout day, I then ate some food so I'd sleep solid and went to bed - woke up early, had creatine/shake and weightlifted really hard with low reps (tryed some new excersises my friends recommended), had more creatine / shake, and then the entire day I had lots of protein and drank shitloads of water, and right now, I feel great. I worked out damn hard, cause when I was done, I felt sick - and that was a good thing . I think I've got the idea down more now - hard and heavy and lots of fluids. I also didn't take a nap yesterday, so I slept heavier last night.

Re: Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

ahh the skinnyness that plagues so few in america. Im just like you, i got my chest and abs nice, but my arms arent much. When i work out now all i do are arm workouts 2 day breaks between workouts. I take creatine and protein. So far gains are minimal. First 2 months i made some solid gains, almost 10 lbs, now ive leveled off and dont seem to be gaining anything. . .im just starting to pull things by working out to hard. Like my back and my fore arms. . .

^ ^ LoL yeh no kiddin whooyah to us skeletons.

If you've hit a platue, I would highly reccomend taking 10 solid days off from lifting - none at all. Drink lots, sleep lots, and eat lots of protein. Drink tons of water too - it'll be a washout phase to start over with the creatine. Come back hard and heavy, and that should help you break your plateau.

Re: Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

man ithought i was skinny, but they jsut hired this new cook at my work, damn im scared. Hes prolly 6'5" at maybe, maybe 140 lbs. And hes 20. His arms have no muscle what so ever. I mean he literally looks like he just got out of German Jew camp. He has really braod shoulders, but his shoulders are just bone, so it looks like hes a shirt hanger. I honestly dont think he can make a muscle.

Re: Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

do you do tricep workouts? if not you should or you won't see much growth in the bicep... check out www.menshealth.com for some good workouts..

also do dumbell curls like this:

with your arms down have your palms facing backwards(weights will be sideways) then as you go up twist your arms so that they end up like a normal curl at the very top of the motion... do it slowly and try to make your palms face each other right as your forearms are parrallel

I say 2 weeks is no enough time to do much though... but give it 2 months and you'll gain a lot

Re: Urgent Help Needed w/ Arms

Greenblur, I'm taking "Creatine Plus" (i'm not sure what generation) from GNC. I take 1 scoop before working out, one scoop after, and one scoop every morning.

And thanks for that site link Soyo, there's some good exercises on there.
