As I Was Driving Coming Back From Getting A Hair Cut. My Car Started Acting Like It Was Loosing Power, The Stereo Started Going On And Off, Then It Finally Turned Off And When I Went To Start It It Acted Like The Battery Was Half Way Dead. What Im Asking Is Could It Be The Battery Or The Alernator??? Please Help!! Thanks....

Take out the alternator. Take it to autozone, and have them test it. It's free. If it's not that, then start checking out other parts. The car wouldn't start if the battery is dead, so doubt it's that. The fact that your stereo was cutting in and out doesn't sound like the battery to me. If it's not the alternator, start probing wires.

Re: Help Please!!

The way you described the situation right before your car died is EXACTLY what happened to my car a couple of different times. It turned out to be the alternator each time.
