1994 2.3L Quad 4..... I'm trying to get at the timing chain but first I need to remove the cover, and to remove the cover I need to get the engine lifting/support bracket out of the way. The problem I am having is that I can't get to any of the 3 lifint bracket bolts bolts with anything but a combination wrench. I tried using a pipe for added leverage, but I end up moving the whole engine because the bolts are on so tight. Is there any trick to getting this thing off? I don't need any special tools to help support the engine do I? Help would be appreciated....

Re: Engine lifting bracket/timing chain help please
I'm not sure of what exactly you're reffering too, but if you're dealing with very tight bolts, I would highly reccomend letting them soak thoroughly in Break-Away over night. The stuff works like magic.
