clicking noise
i have a 91 integra ls for the past 2 weeks i have benn hearing a clicking noise coming from the front end i checked the cv boots only one is torn i going to replace it today but the steering wheel vibrates what else could it be

well im pretty sure its just your axel, if your driving and the creeking noise gets quicker as you speed up. but if its a constant noise that stays the same i couldnt really tell you for sure.

if your CV boot is torn that is probably the clicking.. and the vibration is probably a wheel balance issue, when was the last time to had your wheels balanced?

Axels can also cause the vibration. I have even seen the intermediate shaft causing it. I would replace the axle first then go from there.
Word of advice: Do not buy an autozone axle. I went through 45 before I found a good one. Best of luck! |
