lock cylinder

i've been attemping to put my new lock cylinder on but it won't stay in place when i put my keys in to unlock/lock my door any suggestions?

sounds like you didn't get the lock retaining clip in place or that its worn out, the clip. make sure the clip was snaped up tight against the lock cylinder.
