93 wagon just started blowing hot air

Hi, I have a 93 gl that started blowing hot air thru the vent and the air doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have a clue as to what is wrong? This just happened all of a sudden. Thanks in advance.

There are a number of things that could be causing this condition. Through the process of elimination hopefully, the root cause can be identified;
1. Engine idling: Put cabin temperature selector to 'Cold', Turn/push A/C button ON. Do you hear the A/C compressor engage, or engine drop in RPM's?
2. Look under the hood and see the A/C belt is not broken.
3. Are the engine cooling fan/s working? Engine coolant O.K.?
4. Even if the A/C is not working the air duct temperature should not be HOT (should be same as outside temperature) If, the duct temperature is HOT, then you should look at the heater/A/C door being stuck, or the control cable loose or broken.

Give us an up-date on what you find.
