stereo harness wiring question
I'm hoping someone can help me out here. A buddy gave me a Pioneer DEH-235 CD Stereo to put into my '96 Grand Prix. I bought a wiring harness to splice to the stereo wiring and then plug into the car plug. However, the stereo wiring is colored differently than the harness and it also doesn't have the wires labelled. Can anyone help me with how to match the colors? Do they make a harness that doesn't need to be spliced, but instead just plugs into the stereo and the car wiring? I got one like that about ten years ago, but haven't been able to find one now. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for answering. Yes, the aftermarket harness colors do not match the wire colors from the plug into the radio. The radio is a 1997.
