sheaper subs

is infinity an ok brand for the money?
i am looking at 2 of them in a ported box for 400
not sure if there is an amp with them, i think there is but not for sure.

For 400 hell no. www.reaudio.com www.incriminatoraudio.com look at those brands. Li series from IA and SE series from RE.

Personally i don't like sheap subs...they BAAAAAAAAh too much. I would never get sheap[b]er[b] subs either!

well to answer the question. i believe, in my own opinion, that infinity makes some damn good subs. i happen to own 2 infinity kappa perfect 12s. i was the third person to own this particular set and they still sounded like new. but like the others i decided i needed more bass. the infinitys are a good sq sub but are rated very low. mine are only 350wrms. i guess they are a pretty efficient sub but they just didn't give me the air movement that i wanted and they can be pretty expensive depending on where you get them from.
