Injector wire splicing and cold start valve?
Two things I noticed on my TPI.........
There is an injector that has spliced wires. The wires are twisted tight with with a good connection. Is this sufficient? I have known wiring before that you could not splice the wiring at all. THe cold start valve...........I noticed mine was unhooked for some unknown reason. Other than making it a little harder to start, does it have any bearing at all during normal operation? |

Just twisted together is no good, I'd solider them and heatshrink the joint.
The cold start injector has no effect on normal engine operation, it only operates during cranking and runs for 15 seconds max. |
