Question Need help urgent please..

Hi There,

I am looking forward to buying a used Camaro Z28 probably 1996 or 1998 ..Could be a 5.7 or 3.6 dont know at the moment..
The thing is,I am not really familiar with american cars and I was wondering if anybody can give me suggestions about this car and any advice about which parts to check before buying the car..Of course I'll check every single part such as brakes,transmission,paint,A/C(as I am living in Dubai this should go first priority) , engine,etc...But experienced camaro users would tell me the most faced problems with the car I hope..Thanks in advance and waiting for replies,as the sound of the 5.7 drives me crazy this is a little urgent
Cheers.

Alper

Since you live in the U.A.E...cooling system, open up the radiator and look for signs of rust (orange/brown deposites floating in the coolant).Any rust in the cooling system, look for another car.
Make sure the radiator fins aren't blocked and that the air dam under the front is still there. With the weather you have over there you're going to want the cooling system to be in top notch condition.
Next look at the transmission fluid, if it is brown and or smells burned, forget that car.
After that, check ALL of the fluids. And if you buy the car, change all of the fluids and filters first thing, even brake fluid. Have the fluid in the resivor removed and new fluid put in, then have the brakes bled until you see clean fluid come out.
