How to get the most out of an mr2 and keep it legal?
Ive just recently bought a 92 Mr2 turbo. Since I live in California i was wondering how much power I could get out of it while still keeping it legal and driving it daily. Also, how much money would I be spending on mods for what I want to do?

Re: How to get the most out of an mr2 and keep it legal?
the answer to both: a LOT.
you can get a lot of power out of any performance based engine, as long as you are willing to put the money into it. before your question can be answered, what are you looking to do with the car? it would be helpful to know before anyone can really give you a good estimate.

Well i was thinking about maybe doing some autox and drag on weekends with it just for some fun. Im sure i could always mod it however i wanted, put the stock stuff back on or just make some kind of smog exhaust with like 3 cat conv. or something for smog. Put everything esle back on and no one would ever know.

you can do a whole lot to those cars! they are fun as fun can be. but either way they are not cheap. with any car that your goin to race u will have to put out money to fix stuff and to make stuff run better with new parts.
