transmission ticking

I just replaced a cracked torque converter in my blazer. Not sure how it happened but it did. I just noticed that there is a ticking sound coming from the inspection plate area so I removed it to so what was going on. all three bolts to the flywheel are tight so that isn't causing the sound. It almost sounds like it is coming from inside the trannys fluid pan area. Another thing I noticed is that before I replaced the torque converter the old one had a wobble to it while it rotated while the motor was running. Now the torque converter rotates without the wobble but now the motor vibrates a lot more. I noticed that by watching the harmonic balancer rotate. It seems to wobble now. Could something be bent in the tranny causing the ticking sound and the rough vibration of the motor while it is running?
