How'd you hide your guns?

I was looking to make some kind of an assembly to keep my guns organized in my truck....I have seen a couple guys make some basic straps, and attach them to the bottom end of the rear seats...but this doesn't sound easily accessible...I was wondering if any of you guys had some thing like this, and what did you do?

Re: How'd you hide your guns?

I have a buddy that keeps his 9mm shoved between the seat and the console.

Re: How'd you hide your guns?

If you're talking baout handguns, then anything smaller than a standard Colt .45 1911 model will fit under the cupholders....that is if you have the captains chairs with center console.....the cupholders popout and there's a nice little spot that holds small items and even has two side "storage" areas for accessories......if it is not legal to have a weapon in your region then the storage area is intended solely for the safekeeping of personal items.....LOL.....i do not condone the carrying of firearms....unless they are safely secured and used only to kill bambi's 14 pt. poppa......LOL.....

Re: How'd you hide your guns?

Well, here in Toronto it is illegal to have a handgun, unless you are in law enforcement...or such...Actually maybe you have heard Canada's Billion Dollar Disaster...the government spent over 1 billion dollars on some stupid gun registry...where you have to have register your guns....now they are dumping it...and these days you don't have to register your guns anymore....what a waste of my hard earned tax dollars....Nobody is allowed to carry any weapons on themselves....completely different from let's say like Texas and there are so many frigg'in laws up here that there are to many to count....But I am a hunter, so that means rifles and shotguns, a guess the only logical place is under the seats....or maybe just in a case on top of the seats for now....

LOL, thats funny you mention Texas. I think thats the only state where it's legal to shoot someone to protect your propery (as opposed to personal protection).

Re: How'd you hide your guns?

I love livin in Texas....its like its own country...LOL...gun sales require a quick background search......that is UNLESS you decide to by a gun secondhand, which is not regulated.....there is no paper trail... no nothing......if i decide to sell one of my guns to my neighbor, provided that they are of legal age(18-longgun, 21-handgun)i can sell it right on the spot without even so much as a receipt....i don't know the rules in other states but it sure is mighty easy here.....

For my rifles and shotguns...i normally just leave them under the backseat.....i am gonna try putting up some really strong velcro straps on the under side of the seat and see if it will hold one or two rifles......

Re: How'd you hide your guns?

I hear you there about stupid laws Silveradoking. Here in Winnipeg a few years back if the cops did a spot check and they found a baseball bat in your car/truck and there was no ball or glove , they would confiscate the bat and give you a ticket for carrying a concealed weapon, i kid you not.
