Engine swap??

I'm getting a b16a swap on my 88 civic hatch dx, being this is a dx, will I need the wiring harness of an 88-91 SI civic? being that the DX is not direct port fuel injection. Any help is appreciated.

Yea since everything on the DX is Dual Point...you will have to switch it over to Multi point first and then get the B16 wire harness and it will work fine since your wiring is just like an Si.

the b16a harness is useless on our cars, other than using it for plugs and spare parts.

switch over to multiport meaning I can use the wiring harness from an 89 civic SI then use the ECU that will be supplied with my swap?

plus you have to wire the oil pressure switch, vtec solenoid, 2nd o2 sensor, and knock sensor, which require further mods to the si harness.
