supercharger!

Does anyone know where i can get some feedback and possibly order an alpine supercharger. I hear they outperform the trd superchargers. I was also wondering if a turbo is made for my 2.7 98 tacoma.
Thanks guys.

Re: supercharger!

Trd s/cs and alpine s/cs are the same.
Alpine made them for TRD then Trd discontinued them. Alpine still sells them.. Lc Engineering and Urd racing sells them also. I believe Urd racing has the lowest price at 2695.00. But keep in mind with a turbo or s/c you have to run Super unleaded gas.$$$$$$ The s/c will run okay at stock boost but higher boost will require fuel upgrades and piggyback computer.$$$$$ The turbo install will require the same. Check out gadgetonline.com for further explaination on what is required for s/c installs. Egt gauge, boost gauge, wide band airfuel ration meter, laptop computer to program piggyback computer, stock ecu scan program for your laptop. I have a 95 2.7 with a s/c. I'm about ready to install fuel and computer upgrades for a higher boost.
