auto to manual

how much do u think it might cost to switch from an automatic to manual in my 99 sl2. and where might i be able to find the parts needed for it. i found that drivin an automatic how become quite boring

the list shows the requirements for 91-94 s series. does it really matter which year its for? my saturn is a 99 sl2.

it should be basicly the same, you may need to make one or two small tweaks

where might i be able to order these parts from. i talked to someone about having the automatic to manual shift done but they said i might run into a lot of troubles because its controlled by a computer.

i have heard two storys about the PCM, one person said you need to swap in a manual trans PCM, the other said you will be fine if you just leave J4 disconnected(J4 is the connector to the transmission, which may be possilbe as the connectior contains one jumper wire)
