What does your bracket look like?

Now that the brackets are official for the NCAA tournament, i've already made my pics, and they're solid ones to. I did it quickly cause i've followed all aspects of college bball this year and feel confident in who i chose.

To make this quick i'll show you my elite eight teams to the final four and championship.

Elite 8-
Illinois, Oklahoma St., Louisville, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan St., Kentucky

I like Louisville because they've had one hell of a schedule this year, and Rick Pitino is a hell of a coach i think he can get them far. Michigan St. has always had a history of being a good tournament team, they won the National title several years ago under Tom Izzo, and they had a good season, they look tough to beat.

Final 4-
Illinois, Louisville, North Carolina, Michigan St.

I've never been really impressed this season with Kentucky, they've been kind of iffy this year even in their wins, they'll get far but not past Michigan St. North Carolina shouldn't have to many problems with Wisconsin, i love Wisconsin, and they're a great team, but i dont think they'll have what it takes to beat North Carolina in the Elite 8. Illinois will probably have a tough game against Oklahoma St., but they've almost always been able to pull through in clutch games and it's just time for them to get what they deserve this year. And lastly, Louisville, Rick Pitino, the year they've had, Wake Forest wont have a prayer, i think Garcia is gonna have a hell of a tournament.

Championship-
Illinois, North Carolina

Illinois will have another hard fought game againts Louisville, in fact i'm predicting it will be an overtime game, but they'll pull it off like they've dont all season. And Michigan St. wont be able to keep up with the high powered offense of North Carolina, they couldn't keep up with Illinois, so North Carolina shouldn't be any different for them. And finally the match up Digger Phelps (the douche bag) has wanted all season, Illinois vs. North Carolina, McCants vs. Brown (speed contest) I'm hard pressed to pick a winner for this one, but like i said earlier, this is Illinois' year and i think they'll be able to pull if off and win the National Title.

How does yours look?

Re: What does your bracket look like?

Mine looks the same as yours for the most part. But for some reason I have a feeling UNC might go out early. No reason or anything behind it. I have Illinois winning too.

Re: What does your bracket look like?

Maybe but North Carolina has a huge tradition of winning and they definately have the team to go far this year. Especially with the bracket they have, The Chicago bracket is loaded in my opinion.

Me to..probably has something to do with living right by Champaign, but they're good enough this year to make it all the way.

Re: What does your bracket look like?

Illinois all the way, however I have a gut feeling they will get knocked off in the elite 8 by some low seeded team

Re: What does your bracket look like?

If it's a low seeded team then hopefully it will be Southern Illinois.

True true...just that gut feeling thing, plus I can't look past them losing to that team in one of they're first games. I can't remember who it was but I'd never heard of them.

I completely agree about the Chicago bracket being loaded. What pisses me off it they say Illinois is the #1 1 seed but they don't play against the winner of the play in game and they end up with the hardest bracket

Re: What does your bracket look like?

My Final 4 right now is Illinois, UNC, Syracuse, and Oklahoma St. I haven't had much of a chance to go through and figure the rest of it out yet.

Even though i can't stand Duke, they are good. However Duke just doesn't have the depth on the bench to get them that far this year, they just barely hung on against Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship, i said it once already today and i'll say it again, Duke will get to the sweet 16 but they wont get any farther. They just dont have the bench to do it this year.

Re: What does your bracket look like?

My bracket looks like a thing screwed into the wall shaped exactly like a bracket.
