Unhappy 95 C1500 manual trans help

I'm trying to remove my transmission to repair the clutch, and I've removed all the bellhousing bolts and other hardware but the trans will not break free from the block. Is there something I'm missing? Will an aluminium trans freeze itself to a steele block? Any help or tips would be great.

Re: 95 C1500 manual trans help

the input shaft and pilot bushing are probably siezed together. i assume you have a jack suporting the tranny and all the bolts are removed. you will need to pry the tranny away from the engine. just make sure you don't break bellhousing
