Speaker Sizes - 99' Camaro

Hello,

I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me the size of the door speakers in a '99 Camaro and if you are able to replace these with a larger size. Any information much appreciated.

i think they are 5 inches....5 by something i cant recall, i just put some in my buddies 2001ss and i think they are the same size, and if u wanna go bigger its gonna be fun u are gonna have to drill new mount holes and do some other adjustments because if im thinking correctly they may not line up with the speaker notches in your door panel when u put it back on, or u may not be able to get the panel back on. i ran into that problem with his he got those sony explode's that have that big ass grey cover on them makig them look like space speakers, well they were to big with the cover on them so they had to come off. if u go to circute city, or best buy they can tell u (or any audeo shop)

I'm pretty sure that your car takes either 6.5" or 6.75" speakers. Check out www.crutchfield.com and they have a deal that says what fits my vehicle.
