power steering

Hello everyone,
I have a question, I have put a Mercedes deisel engine in a Dodge 1500 truck and I have a question about the power steering. Can a Mercedes power steering pump be converted to a Dodge gearbox? I have had to modify everything on this so far and have ran into this problem. Can anyone help with this question?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Brings back memories, of my high school daze! When I shoe-horned a Chevy 327 into my 1966 Rambler American 2 dr hardtop I must have had a death wish

Anyway I simply cut the chevy fitting off of the pressure line and had the auto parts guy put a fitting on the line to fit the Rambler steering box. The suction side can be attached with hose clamps as there is no pressure.
I am sure that the mercedes pump will produce adequate pressure and volume to assist the Dodge steering box.
