Alpine Stereo ISO fittings?
Hi to all, I've got a '97 GC LTD with the factory fitted Alpine head unit and CD changer and I want to add a mobile phone to the configuration. What I would like to know is whether this stereo uses ISO fittings or if I would have to tweak things.
Also, does this stereo support piping a telephone through your car's speakers or muting the sound for the sterero? |

Re: Alpine Stereo ISO fittings?
I think you could answer your question the best if you pulled out your deck and looked at the rear of it. I didn't even know that Jeeps came with Alpine decks and CD Changers? I know some Alpine's do have the phone options on them.

Re: Alpine Stereo ISO fittings?
That's all well and good, but pulling it out to find out if it's ISO is one thing. Pulling it out to find out if the telephone mute and telephone in jacks are working is another thing all together - is there any way to tell easily?

Re: Alpine Stereo ISO fittings?
Maybe when and if you pull it out, look for a model number and ask Alpine Tech Support directly. That way the info is correct and you will know how to hook it up correctly if it does support it. Sorry I couldn't be much of a help.
