lmao

So I'm at the local junkyard and I find a Bird that just got put out. The first thing I noticed were the BEAUTIFUL V8 emblems on the fenders. So I take them off and when I get home and really look at them, there is a tiny bit of black paint removed from the background on each of them. So I get out my "aircraft remover" (paint remover) so I can just repaint the whole things. So I put on a thin layer and let it sit for a minute. When I came back 5 minutes later I find 2 clear, black and chrome globs sitting on my bathroom sink. I knew that aircraft remover was powerful stuff, but it basically disolved those beautiful emblems. Didn't realise that the clear stuff is a resin, and not a hard plastic. I could have just touched it up with a Sharpie or a little paint, and a jeweler wouldn't have noticed the difference! But I didn't becaused I wanted them to be brand new and I don't even own a V8! Damn I rule!

P.S. I wasn't going to put them on my V6, was going to put them on ebay or something like that.

Once again...IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT.

Going to change my username to dumbass75

hehe

Re: lmao

lol. naa, I'd have to market them as being petrified pterodactyl shit. They look nothing like emblems anymore. They are globs.

Re: lmao

heh. I have a SHITLOAD of emblems. I go to the junkyard, find some cool cars, and just slip em in my pocket. I got some RED "V8" Emblems for a Thunderbird (This could work for any, just sand off the black paint, mask the other side, and paint away), LSC emblems, a metal IMPALA emblem, a BUICK GS emblem...
