What do I need for a d16 turbo to hold 250whp
So I'm starting my d16z6 turbo project. I'm looking to get around 200-250 whp, and I'd like the pistons to stay inside the block. I dont want to spend the money to get it sleaved, so I'm wondering if pistons, rods, and block guard would be able to hold together at this power level? Or how much power would that setup handle without going boom?

i have a d15b7 w/dsm turbo 9psi w/stock internals. Only thing done to motor was rce 310cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump and a metal headgasket. and it made 205whp on a mustang dyno, so that would be about 240whp w/ a zc head.
so ya i would grab some arias pistons&eagle rods and fuel pump&injectors and the zc already comes with a metal hg right? |
