Exclamation HELP!! i can't get my steering wheel out of lock

hi all,

i can't start my '93 escort... the key wont turn at all and the steering wheel is locked... i cant get it out... the wheels are straight, so i know its not that, i just drove it like an hour or two ago and parked it in the driveway...

any ideas, or am i just retarted?

HELP PLEASE!

It did the same thing to me on my 97. I rocked the wheel trying to free up the key and it didn't help it at all. Finally, I had another key cut. I had only the one key and knew another cut off of it wouldn't be any better so I went to the Ford dealer and he cut me one off of the vin number. It worked. Keys just worn out on me. Good luck.
