wire color code

i am having issues with my tail lights. drivers side doesn't work. i dont have power going to the male side of the "junction board" under the rear of the truck. i have power coming in on the brown/white but not on the brown. my question is the brown wire the power for the drivers side while the brown/white is the power for the passenger side. and where does the wiring come from, the fuse panel under the dash or under the hood. any help would be great. oh and yes the bulb is good, the ground is good i just dont know which wire goes where and i dont really want to do any cutting and splicing. thanks

Re: wire color code

each tail light is on its own fuse in the fuse panel under the hood i would start by checking the fuses
