Angry 1997 voyager wipers don't work

i own a 1997 voyager and am having problems with the wipers.
two weeks ago they did work, but did some wierd crap like freeze half way up the windshield, not come on right away, or wouldn't turn off.
now there not working at all . so i change the muli function switch and it didn't work. check the motor, it works when you jump the relay. checked relays and the fuse. all with no luck. so whats next? wires, bcm or a match lol . can't spend lots of money on a old truck so i'm going to try to repair myself.
any help would be great thanks

Something quick to try is to pull the IOD fuse in the PDC under hood . I believe this cuts power to the bcm , maybe this will reset whatever problem you are having , cheap try at least .

tryed removing the ground on the battery for 20 minutes to reset bcm but with no luck.
quick question do you know if it's possible that only the wipers could be affected by the bcm? because i have no other problems with lights, or the other stuff the bcm controls. p.s. i hate to spend money on b.s. problem like this ( who doesn't )!
silly system dodge has to junction light, wipers, odometer through one expensive box (bcm).

Yes it can be only one problem , the bcm controls a lot of things like wipers , all the dash guages, backlighting etc .... I kind of doubt it is a bcm problem and more likely a wiper motor problem . I had the problem on our 96 where they would wipe by themselves or do weird stuff on intermittent mode , they replaced the stalk and that didn't fix it and after that they replaced the motor itself and never had another problem . This was still under warranty though and didn't have to pay for it . This has been a ongoing problem in the 96-2000 era vans . Don't know if they fixed that problem in the 2001-2005 vans , haven't seen anyone complaining about it in those years.

the only thing is that the wipers will work if you pull the relay and place a jump wire to power them up. still the motor? i was kimda thinking that it couldn't be but i really am no mech.
