quick question do you know if it's possible that only the wipers could be affected by the bcm? because i have no other problems with lights, or the other stuff the bcm controls. p.s. i hate to spend money on b.s. problem like this ( who doesn't )!
silly system dodge has to junction light, wipers, odometer through one expensive box (bcm).

Yes it can be only one problem , the bcm controls a lot of things like wipers , all the dash guages, backlighting etc .... I kind of doubt it is a bcm problem and more likely a wiper motor problem . I had the problem on our 96 where they would wipe by themselves or do weird stuff on intermittent mode , they replaced the stalk and that didn't fix it and after that they replaced the motor itself and never had another problem . This was still under warranty though and didn't have to pay for it . This has been a ongoing problem in the 96-2000 era vans . Don't know if they fixed that problem in the 2001-2005 vans , haven't seen anyone complaining about it in those years.
