4 wheel drive problem

I have a 93 s10 blazer that doesnt seem to be going into 4 wheel drive.When the 4 high button is pressed it lights up, I hear a clunk sound but the front wheel[s] dont engage.I have seen alot of posts on 4 wheel drive probs. but not this one.. Any help would be appreciated..

When the transfer case shifts into 4WD, the vacuum switch on top of the transfer case sends vacuum to the actuator (first design on the RF inner fender, second design under the battery) which pulls the cable, which locks in the front axle.

Use the search feature and actually read through the threads.

No 4x4 problem is exactly alike but this one has been covered a helluva lot.

Please expend some effort please instead of having the members restate what is already in the threads.
