buying cars

I am looking on buying a 93 lx probe. i was just wondering if anything would fit into a 94 probe se. and is the 93 lx known for any problems. He said it over heats sometimes and he has replaced the radiator. and sometimes it doesnt start but then on the third time it starts. I dont know if it worth 500. can someone answer me soon as possible.

93 lx? I take it that's the 2.0 DOHC Probe SE..... if he's asking 500 and you've already got a 94 se... i would say.. no. If his is the 93 Probe GT 2.5 V-6, then yes, for 500 it is worth it... Cause if anything, you can upgrade the engine for just under 1000 and have a totally awesome for just under 1500... And if you can sell your SE for a great price, you should be able to get a higher performance car and earn some extra cash on the side....

Shit id say do it i drive a 93 base and it is burning like 10 quarts in between changes but still runs so quiet thats the only reason im holding back on a new engine i havent had any real problems with mine i mean i snapped an axle and just put in a new fuel pump and clutch but thats all regular Shi* Even for $500 part that thing out... i mean you can get like $70 for both tail lights $225-$250 for seats and interior peices... Window motors like 50 $Each Then Ac controls like $10-$20 Gauge Cluster $20
SO you are almost at $500 there and you still possibly have rims and tires to sell off... Id say pick it up even if you just were taking random things from it you needed. Take out the 2.0 and pick up a haynes repair and maybe make a project out of reconditioning the 2.o

Re: buying cars

93 didn't make an Lx just 89-92 and nothin really fits the second generation other than the rims.
