1998 Galant Woes. . . . .
Hi. I just purchased a galant. I was told that it needed a new mass. air flow sensor from the guy who was selling it. I purchased this part and when I plug it in, the car stalls. When I unplug this part the car runs fine, but the check engine light stays on. The car will not pass the e-check.
Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks so much!

could be a bad mas. unplug the nag battery cable for 15 minutes install the mas reconnect battery then start. I got 2 good mas for sale came out of a 1994 ES and LS work perfectly. Have you hade your codes checked? You can take it to autozone and they'll do it for free
