Hi! I did a search regarding this problem already but most of the posts had to do with the intermittent wipers not working. Last week the blades just stopped working. When I turn the knob for them to go on you do hear the motor running, just nothing is happening. Is this an easy fix? Would this be warranteed? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like one of the linkage bushings/end links may have broke or fell off causing one of the wiper linkages to come loose. You'd have to take off the black plastic cowl cover (base of windshield, outside) to troubleshoot further. Probably not a warrantied item unless you paid for an extended warranty of some sort.
G/luck Joel

Re: 2000 Rodeo blades stopped working

The replacement linkage was about $15. You have to remove both wiper arms (on a '97 they aren't exactly the same so keep track of which is which) and remove the cowl (5 screws) to get to the linkage. It took about 10 minutes total to replace. You might be able to get the linkage back on with out buying a new one but chances are it won't stay on for long. May as well replace it while you have everything apart.
