Angry @#%&!@&!

Damnit!! My fucking toe hurts like a bitch. I dont understand why. I got home last night from work and went to bed at 11. Its like 4 in the morning now and I cant fall back asleep. I dont get it. The pain is unreal and I dont know what the hell caused it. Its like someone is taking a nail, sticking it SLOWLY into the place between the nail and the skin. Then pushing the point slowly towards the center and then they start prying the nail loose. I didnt hit my toe once at work. I didnt cut it or anything. And I was kinda awake. Like you shift around in bed and then you notice stuff like that. Because I am completely dead and dont know anything while I am asleep. Man this sucks. Im thinking of cuttin the damn thing off right now.

Re: @#%&!@&!

When my sis had an ingrown nail it sounded like what you're talking about. I'd have it checked out soon or it could get infected.

Re: @#%&!@&!

When I used to Race my Motocross Bike, I had a collision with another rider and ripped 97% of my Big toe on my right foot off(all except for skin). After recovering from surgery... Months later one day I woke up in extreme pain. when you looked closely at my toe you could see the nail almost pushing through the side of my toe... I had to go in for a quick surgery... they listed it as a ingrown toenail.. its been fine since but they say it was due to improper placement when they reconstructed my toe.. odds are you have an ingrown toenail.. get it looked at before it gets worse or infected.. the Doc will tell you to aviod getting ingrown nails do not trim your nails too short. Good Luck!

OUCH!! Well. It wasnt an ingrown nail. It hurts when I do it. But when I cut my nails I take a small pair of sharp nail scissors, push one point down into the skin next to the nail, and pry up any nail that is going into my skin. I make sure I dont get that crap. My friend had it so bad that he had a chunk of skin growing ON TOP of his nails of each big toe. He had surgery and they stuck a needle at least 8 times right into the tip of his toe to numb it. From what he told me the nail was starting to curve back up because it was so bad. I bet though my toe became swollen because of the puncture from the scissors.

I know how you feel. Friday night I was walking up the stairs and went down in pain to my knee out of no where. It is sever pain too. I went to the Dr. Monday and had a catscan done went back tuesday for results and he said there is something that looks a little funny so he sent me for a MRI today. I go back tomorrow for the results. He thinks it may be growing pains or something pretty serious. It sucks too because my job requires driving so I can't take the good pain killers.
