97 Cavalier 2.4 rough acceleration at low rpms

I have a 97 Cavalier 2.4 w/ 112K miles. When i leave home it is fine(idle, acceleration, and cruise).I get on the highway set the cruise go ten miles hit brakes for curve, then i go to accel and it runs rough and the CEL and ETS lights go on at the same time and the cruise will not work.Get to work shut it off come out after work CEL and ETS lights on right away and no cruise.Shut it off clear codes (P0335,P0441 which is crank and cam sensors)Then it will be fine down the highway at a constant speed until i try to speed up,then the same problems. The cruise and lights going off has to be connected i think. Replaced:Crank , Cam , Throttle position sensors,Fuel filter. Ran 91 octane and fuel injector cleaner , and seaform. PLEASE HELP

You're having the same problem I have in my car. Let's just say the mechanic does not know what it is but what do you mean by 'rough' acceleration? Does the car do a sort of 'tug'?

yes,the tach will drop down 500 - 600 quickly then right back up,or drop a gear and go back up

Re: 97 Cavalier 2.4 rough acceleration at low rpms

that sounds just like my problem. Let's just say what's happening in my car is that some sort of electrical problem or something along those lines resets the camshaft and crankshaft sensor. They'll be counting fine and then one will reset. then later the other one. when this happens the engine misfires and hence the 'tug.' mine does it at around 3500 RPM usually, drop down and go back up. If you find out what was causing this please let me know.
