Oil Cooler Hose

I have a question. Ok i noticed today that my oil cooler hose is leaking in the one that heads to the engine. I found that Advance sells them for 40 bucks. I noticed 2 bolts one at the top and one at the bottom. Besides draining the oil, is this all that would be needed to remove them. Kinda gets me mad since i just changed oil last week and it was fine.

I couldn't get the lines off on mine.(lack of proper tools)
I had to take it to a shop.
It only cost me about $60 in labour to get it done.

its going pretty good. I didn't know it till today when i smelled something burning like smell and since i put the new battery in, I saw it. I only saw 2 bolts on it. I ordered them from Rock Auto since Advance was no help to me up there. The Haynes manual like usual is useless,

I looked at it again this morning only 2 bolts. Would I have to drain the oil out of the engine or just remove the filter because if its cold the oil will be in the pan for the most part.

With those new gaskets do i need to apply rtv or can i put them in and just slap oil on them? I read a thread the other day about just putting oil on them but i want to be sure.

You only use the gaskets in the packge.

No RTV should be used at all.

i got them in the mail today saturday i will tackle them.

I got the horn going but its killing the battery so i have to hook a relay up.
