My 626

I have a 99 Mazda 626 LX 4 banger and when i try to take off kind of fast the car starts to sputter. And also sometime my car will not stay started after about an hour of driving if I turn the car off and then try to start it back up. Can someone please tell me what might be wrong..

is an electrical problem..may be the coil pak. that supplies spark to the plugs. Later, Mark.

Thanks Mark, I'll check it out and see. I've just found out about another problem.. As I accelerate i hear a popping noise from the front of the car. What could be causing that?????

Does the car sputter at the same time you hear the popping noise? Timing problem...gets worse as you drive...Cam sensor or dist. rail sensor. Hpoe this helps. Later...Mark.

yeah it does sputter, will this be very expensive to fix or should i just put a for sale sign in the window.
