Computer Upgrade for Nissan Maxima?

"The STILLEN Upgraded Computer adds 8-10% more horsepower to computer-controlled Nissans with no other modifications."

Is this statement true? If so, how does it effect your car w/o it having any upgrades?

Re: Computer Upgrade for Nissan Maxima?

TS and JWT are the only two ECU upgrades that are dyno proven to add power. I'd stick to them.

Re: Computer Upgrade for Nissan Maxima?

the Technosquare reprogrammed ecu remaps you A/F ratio as i30 said and it also prevents your throttle body from closing at wot(which nissan programmed it to do to conserve gas, it closes 20%, makes a big dif on top end), and i've heard they can program it to extend your redline to 7200 rpm.

and Jim Wolf only does ECU's for 95-96's cuz 4th gen obd-II has too many codes to fuck with. i think he does 02-03's as well. when i get my motorcycle and i can take the car off the road for a couple days, i'm going to send my ecu to Technosquare to have done.
