Question can i toggle switch vtec to see if it works?

hey guyz whats up i have a 91 civic hatch dx an wanna test to see if btec works now can i toggle it real quick an how could i wire it in?

91 civic dx doesnt have vtec

but you could hook it up to a toggle switch if you wanted too. my friend has a push button vtec

Do you have a mini-me or a swapped motor? If not like killer said you don't have v-tec

Yea I Do My Badd I Have A D16y8 Motor In It Just Figured I Would Wire The Vtec To My Autometer Swift Night For Now An Run The Positive An Negative For Now To Test It Out

i don't understand i don't have vtec please explain to me why one would want to toggle a vtec? test to make sure it engages? Have vtec at low RPM's?

its like having a really cheap vtec controller. My friend has toggle vtec in his integra. He expiremented to see when it was best to have it kick in. Plus when hes on the highway he saves gas by leaving it off.
