SES light on and car 'coughs when boost lite is on

A few days ago I was driving down the Interstate. Was rolling around 60mph and decided to go around a truck. Puched the throttle as I do most every day, however the car did not react as I would expect.

The SES light came on (and stays on) and now when I punch the throttle enough to get the BOOST meter to move the engine starts to hesitate. So long as I get the RPMs low and do not engage the supercharger everything seems fine. Check the belts and they are good.

I have not taken it in yet, so I do not have codes. Just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this before so I can be a little more educated when I take it to the dealer who has a rep for trying to rape people...

Take it to Auto Zone and get it scanned. They do it for free and you can write down what the code number is and what is causing it. That's about the only thing I can tell you to do.

Get the code and we can help,but it sounds as if it's got some bad missfire's in boost.

So long as I get the RPMs low and do not engage the supercharger everything seems fine.

Sounds like bad plug wire's.Id replace both plug's and wire's.
