Unhappy Need Asst. please

I have often times purused this forum, for problem-indicators from sticky valves to bad grounds, and now am new to the discussion where I seek some professional advice.
I just had a new Crankshaft Sensor and ECM installed on my '92 Euro (3.1L). I have "relearned the idle", to no success and the exaust still smells rich (by rich I really mean lean-- but my lingo is all screwed up [like it is getting more gas than O2]).
What it does (aside from variable idling in park-- which I can live with) is rumble at highway speeds.
speeding up 10-20 slight rumble on acceleration (like plug problem)
speeding up 20-40 no problem
sustained speeds (holding gas petal steady) obnoxious rumble and slight hesitation to remain constant.
speeding up 40-60 no problem
sustained speeds (again) obnoxious rumbe and slight hesitation to remain constant.

This seems like a throttle body issue-- to clean not only the injectors, make sure to get some carb cleaner in the TBI, plenum, check the MAP and ACI functionality.
Any one have a similar problem, are are there indicators here that definately rule out (say the plugs-- which I checked and adjusted)

Re: Need Asst. please

That sounds an awful lot like a plug with a cracked insulator to me.

Or a plug wire that's breaking down and misfiring while cruising.

Mine would slow due to a miss under power at highway speeds, was thr Ign. modual.
Also, my up and down idle in Park, was fixed with a new MAP sensor

Could be one of the coil packs, may be giving enough spark for idle or low RPM, but not enough for when a lot of gas is in the cylinder causing incomplete combustion. Real common of Ford with the Coil on Plug coils.
