My buddys car painted mines this weekend pics of his (56k warning)

body work finshed. My buddy Dom looking at his car seeing if theres anymore dents to repair.

taping everything

primer goes on

paint next (after a bunch of bug removal from primer spray)

All white this color is the base white most paints start with. Its really bright

Beer 30 about now

Clear goes on (slight hint of blue pearl in the clear)

Final product still needs some seals and what not but shes out and running around town. As you can see in the pics its so bright my camera's Iris closes so you dont see the shine. Ill get some more pics this weekend.

All and all a real good learning experience. Glad we TESTED on his car not mine. Mines getting paint this weekend and GTA will be here to watch and help. Should be a good weekend allready learned the dos and donts with painting a car so it should be smooth.

that looks real nice!

Looks like you really took you're time with it with the heat lamps and the paint booth you made. Actually looking at those pics is kinda motivating me, maybe I should try and talk my friend into letting me paint his rusty old celica.

you can be locked up jail by the epa for painting car at home and not wearing approved respirator. that respirator is use only for sanding.
the chemicals they use for paint causes cancer and all kinds of diseases.

Post edit by GTA - removed quote of pics.

Like we care? I hope you were joking dude. I've painted numerous cars without the respirator. Not sick yet, and I don't want to live past 70 anyway. Are you a vegetarian too?

The only way you could get in trouble is if you were painting on public property or at a business. If your on your property they can't do shit about it.
