Ford Fuel Injectors

Well, I got a set of the 19# injectors from eBay about 2 weeks ago and finally had some spare time to install them. The swap was pretty easy once I pulled the wire harness out of the way.

Once everything was buttoned down, I held my extinguisher in one hand and cranked the starter with the other. Wrooommmm. It fired right up and didn't even catch fire. I took it for a quick trip around the block and all seems well. Can't say it performs any better since my old I6 was already pretty peppy. However, it does seem to start a bit quicker. I have quite a bit of drivng over the next few weeks so I'll get a good look at any change in mileage. I'll report back later.

BTW, the old injectors were pretty caked up around the outside of the nozzles. Amazing how much crud was on them. Yes, I cleaned the bosses out before I put the "new" ones in.
