Re: This is where it all starts for me

Thanks man, i am pretty sure it a 1.6 though but what the difference. Does it have more bore or stroke? anyone know. the only thing that i have found wrong with it is some broken sensors but i pretty much expected that.

Re: This is where it all starts for me

the stroke is different. all D series and B series engines have the same bore except for the B20. The reason the D15vtec is so good is bc of the head. Put that head on a Z6 and itll be a smokin lil 1.6.

Re: This is where it all starts for me

Well, i asked for a D16z6 BUT there is no engine code on the block, it just says "ZC", how can i tell if its the 1.6 or 1.5?

its a D15 if it has vtec and it says ZC on it. There was no d16z6 in japan.

Re: This is where it all starts for me

OK, well thats fine w/ me, i kinda like the idea of it having a little better head if thats the case in what was said above. What is the difference in the head on those motors? what makes it better than the 1.6 head?
