Re: what kind of muffler should i put?

Hoo boy, U have dual exhausts, apparently.

First~~~ change both mufflers at the same time, it the same principle as changing over both front wheel brakepads, [unless ya strapped for $$$]. Any, repeat any, dual system, whether brakes, coils, exhaust, replace it all the same time.

Second, you can do flow-through mufflers if ya want a "growl", but I caution, that the newer cars are much less forgiving of exhaust changes.

My own thinking is stay factory, they may have a "tuned" muffler" that will "growl" but still provide correct engineered back-pressure. See if the GM dealer offers that option, then go to parts stores to purchase the mufflers, never buy the GM part from the dealer unless you like vaseline. Or ya have no other option.

Try www.autozone.com. for some ideas and pricings, they are a recommended site to surf.
