Gull Wing Doors On S10?
I remember seeing gull wing doors on an S10 in a magazine somewhere. Does anyone know a company that makes a kit for this? I am going to have to replace my hinges this summer, and thought this might look cool on my truck, or maybe suicide doors! (Some idiot-not me- welded the hinge pins on my doors!) Any thought or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

check e bay, suicide doors, i dont know, i dont think they look right on something made after 197x its a muscle sprts car thing

Gull wings would be harder to do than suicide,I would think.I like the suicide look personally.

I know that the factory welded the hinges. I'm tellin you that someone welded the pins in and the bushings are worn out. so in order to replace the bushings----alot of cutting grinding and other crap that I wouldn't have to do if some idiot wouldn't have welded the pins in.

GM didn't weld them.I assume that someone only welded the ends of the pins and that wouldn't be hard to fix compared to making suicide doors.

Movin2 is right, there's a lot of work in making suicide doors.

Thanks for the input guys, I looked at the hinges again today, and found out that someone also cut one of the ends off of the hinges where the pin goes through, so now theres no hole- just a half moon. Ill probably go get some used hinges at the j-yard and fix it when it gets warmer. thanks again guys for the help!
