Rear Brake Line Replacment
HELP! HELP! HELP!
Working on a friends 92 Roadmaster that is leaking brake fluid...ok, flooding brake fluid. The Front to Rear Brake line is rusted through in several spots and needs to be replaced. Anyone know the best way to do this? Is there a site/store where a complete formed line can be bought? Or a kit for splicing together smaller pre-bent pieces? Any ideas/experiences most welcome.... Thanks |

Re: Rear Brake Line Replacment
You probably won't find a pre bent line, except at the dealer, and that's iffy. Remove the old line without bending it up too badly, measure the length and get a slightly longer replacement line. Then bend the replacement line to the same shape. I would not try to repair a brake line, especially if it is rusted in several places..
