Question Wierd noise after 2" drop????

Ok, didnt happen at first but after a day or 2 it started up. Comming from the front passenger side. Now the noise is not constant, if I am accelerating, or braking I cannot hear it. However if I am just driving straight and either not stepping on the gas, or just keeping a constant speed I can hear it. It is a hard noise to discribe, its almost like somehting is rubbing however I does not appear that its possible. I have checked and there is clearance all the way around my tires. I am riding 16" x 7" rims on 205/50/16's I have turned the wheel all the way from side to side and it does not come close to anything as far as rubbing so It couldnt be the tires or rims. Also I had new axle shafts and cv boots and joints installed last year so I dont think that one of thoughs could have done bad again. I cehck the boots and they are still perfectly intact. What els should I check and how? How would I check the axle shaft to make sure that nothing is wrong with it??

92 accord by the way.

Ok good point, First off the sound goes allong with the speed of the tire.
What I mean is if I am going fast the sound is faster like a rubbing grinding noise for every revolution of the tire. If I am creeping up to a stop at like 3-5 miles an hour its just a slow long rubbing gringing sound. I will try and get some audio of it but it may be to quiet to pickup on a recording.

well sounds like your tire is rubbing onsomething, check for control arms rubbing, and maybe the plastic liner in your fender well.

oh yeah i almost forgot to ask, is your spring sitting on the perch right? if its not, your inner tire might be rubbing on the spring.

Well its deff. not my tires rubbing anything. I reached behind my wheel and ran my hand all the whay around the wheel so it is not touching anything. I did the same with the wheele cranked in bolth directions. Im pretty sure its sitting on the pearch right, but ill double check.

So if it is the cv boot rubbing the control arm, how would I fix it? Would I just have to raise up the car a little like 1/4" or something?

do u have a camber kit on it ? on a second tough the ahle might be too long for the control arm. getting a camber kit should solve the problem. You did not get the noise the first 2 days because of the spring sagging, and the car lowered more during the sagging.
