Grrrr
I was in a minor accident (I rear ended my roomate) and I dont know much about cars so maybe someone out there could help me out....
-I was wondering if its hard to change out the hood, bumper, and grill cuz I bought the parts today and dont really wanna pay hella much to have someone install it. (could I just buy a book??) -The airbag did not deploy and now my airbag light is on..does that really matter?? If I was to get into another accident does the light mean it would not deploy?? Thanks to anyone who could help me out!!!!!! |

Re: Grrrr
Replacing the parts isn't hard if you have the right wrenches and socket set to do it. Don't know about the air bag.

Re: Grrrr
Use a felt tip pen to mark around the edge of the fender where it is bolted to the body in the engine compartment. When you install the new fender, line it up to this mark for your rough fit. Only tighten the bolts enough so that you can still move the fender towards or away from the hood with a little effort. Once you get the right gap between the hood and fender then tighten down the bolts. The hood will need to be adjusted front to back in this same manner.
